Insurance
The services of a licensed psychiatrist are typically among those covered by insurance providers.  We participate with Cigna as an in-network provider and with most insurance companies as an out-of-network provider.  

Payment
Co-pays and out-of-network fees are due at the time of service.  Your personal check and Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit cards are accepted. 

Flexible Spending Accounts
If your company offers a medical flexible spending account (FSA), you may wish to consider using it to minimize your actual out-of-pocket cost.  This kind of account allows you to use pre-tax dollars for medical deductibles and co-pays (as well as for most medications, including over-the-counter supplies!).  This can save you up to a third of your expenses.  Another benefit of using a flexible spending account that you can file for reimbursement immediately, even before the plan is fully funded.  Here's an online article with more details.  Talk to your company's human resources department for full information on your particular plan.

Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, and you have not provided notification at least 24 hours in advance, you will be expected to pay the full cost of the appointment as booked since that time was reserved for you and was not available to other clients.
